Sinabung eruption (33 Photos)

A series of strong eruptions of the volcano Sinabung rocked Sumatra. After the slopes of the volcano lava flow down, and a pillar of dust and gas has risen to the height of 7 km. A representative of the Indonesian authorities, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said that about 22,000 ​​thousand residents from the area of 5 km radius around the volcano were evacuated.

The volcano began erupting again in September last year after lying dormant for 3 years. Before 2010, Mount Sinambung hadn't erupted in 400 years.
