In the night from Friday to Saturday until Polish ended UN Summit Rio +20. In
the final declaration, representatives from nearly 200 countries agreed
to within 3 years to define the objectives of sustainable development
(SDG). It is talking about "green", environmentally
friendly economy, which may be the answer to both the deterioration of
the environment and the economic crisis. The declaration, however, does not impose anything.
Summit has also become the cause of many protests and non-governmental organizations demonstrations.
In
these instances contradicted the destruction of natural resources, the
lack of a coherent and effective action against hunger in the world, as
well as protests against the presence of the President of Iran at the
conference.
Abbreviation "Rio +20" refers to the twentieth anniversary of the fateful Earth Summit in Rio in 1992.
